01

Bankable means risks can be understood

Bankability is not a badge. It measures how far each risk is documented, allocated between the parties and priced: resource, design, construction, permits, connection, revenue, counterparties, insurance, environmental and social impacts, end-of-life obligations.

02

Interfaces create hidden risk

A strong package aligns definitions, tests, dates, remedies, caps, exclusions and security across contracts. A performance guarantee can be undermined if the metering boundary, operating profile or degradation assumptions differ from the financial model.

Decision notes

  • 01Track every condition precedent to the party that can close it.
  • 02No contract eliminates the need to verify physical performance.
